The First release of The Bulgarian Europe Festival was held under the aegis of Mrs Meglena Kuneva, Minister of European Affairs, with the support of the Communication Strategy for the Accession of Bulgaria to the European Union. 100 programs for television and radio attended the first release of The Bulgarian Europe Festival. 65 television programs and 33 radio programs of more than 35 producers were presented in 13 categories.

More than 250 media representatives attended the festival.
